Inspirational Quotes: A Course in Miracles

Here you fill find profound inspirational quotes from "A Course in Miracles" that are great pearls of wisdom to meditate upon.

The following is a list of inspirational quotes from "A Course in Miracles" that I compiled when I first began studying the course. I first started reading "A Course in Miracles" (ACIM) when I was traveling in Australia and living a short while in Canberra. At first I resisted the simplicity of the teachings because I was coming off being with a teacher who was very "special" and as one of his closest disciples, one of the few "chosen ones," I was not going to let go of my specialness that easily. However, although I resisted the words of the text, it was by doing the workbook that I began to have a shift in consciousness and at last lost that need for specialness. I took these quotes around with me in a book of favorite inspirational quotations to help focus my mind and to remind me of the truth I had experienced in moments of revelations.

Forgive me for not have the references assigned to each quotation. I wrote these down a long time ago and I am not one such details. But I hope you will enjoy them nonetheless and I encourage you to do your own explorations in A Course in Miracle and find your own pearls.

I see nothing as it is now.

My thoughts do not mean anything.

I am determined to see.

I do not perceive my own best interests.

I do not know what anything is for.

I who am host to God am worthy of Him.

Humility will never ask that you remain content with littleness. But it does require that you be not content with less than greatness that comes not of you.

In preparing for the Holy Instant, do not attempt to make yourself holy to be ready to receive it. That is but to confuse your role with God's.

Heaven is not a place or a condition. It is merely an awareness of perfect oneness, and the knowledge that there is nothing else; nothing outside this oneness, and nothing else within.

From the ego came sin and guilt and death, in opposition to life and innocence and to the Will of God Himself.

The crucified give pain because they are in pain. But the redeemed give joy because they have been healed of pain. Everyone gives as he receives, but he must choose what it will be that he receives. And he will recognize his choice by what he gives, and what is given him.

Offer your brother the gift of lilies, not the crown of thorns; the gift of love and gift of fear.

The world you see is but a judgment on your self. It is not there at all.

The world the holy see is beautiful because they see the innocence in it.

Nothing can hurt you unless you give it the power to do so.

It is impossible to overestimate your brother's value.

Vision or judgment is your choice, but never both of these.
